Last Class of TSL 507(Syllabus, Material, Curriculum & Evaluation)

Today we the students of TSL 507 had faced the last of of this course where we did the class with the submission of two assignments as well presenting one assignment in front of the class. At first sir gave us the syllabus for final examination & repeated the date of final examination. after that he discussed all the things in very briefly for making us understandable. Then he told us to present one by one by submitting the assignments. The students were supposed to evaluate an English textbook under NCTB curriculum from class 5-10. I have selected the textbook of class 6 and presented it with the appropriate examples whether the book is nicely decorated or not. Mainly I had focused on some issues in evaluation the book such as appearances, material, topic content, language content, sociocultural situation, level, skills, methods, objectives etc.

We had passed almost 3 months with this course as well as instructor where it was good time & place to gain knowledge about curriculum development, syllabus development, evaluation, material development etc. He gave us lots of book's names which is really helpful for us as a student of ELT.
